Bane of Mordor - A Lord of the Rings Roleplay
News Over the next couple of days, I will be fixing the Shop and the Banner, along with the rest of the site. Name: Elaniver Addrodoc

Race: human

Hair: black

Biography: Elaniver was born to Afeirer Addrodoc and Urisha Addrodoc in the White City of Gondor. His father immediately decided that he would go into service as he was rejected when he applied for the army, forcing him to go back to being a blacksmith. Elaniver started his life in the army at the age of 10, serving as a runner at first for those higher up in command delivering instructions. He would serve this job until the age of 15 when he started to train with blades, tought by any Gondopr soldier who happened to be in the same room as him.

At the age of 19 he was deemed ready to be classed as a full time warrior, showing certain skills throughout his training and his nack for hitting as hard as he could in the correct places to fell a full grown man. Even becoming known throughout the Gondor barracks as being 'The Loose Cannon'.

At the age of 20 he was taken out on his first skirmish and started up his independant and alternate ways of doing things, eventually breaking away from his regiment and taking the fight on himself, showing his devil may care attitude.

At the age of 24 he was called up the ranks and was given the newly created rank of 'World Warrior'. Which gave him the freedom to travel the world as he saw fit so long as there was a good enough reason for him to leave the White City. Unfortunately he took this privelidge for granted and simply didnt come back for 2 whole years, therefore missing the deaths of his parents. Elaniver was distraught and appealed to the King to be released from his service, promising that he would return when he was needed but imploring that he needed to travel and be alone for the time being. He was begrudgingly granted his wish and so left The White City, going where he pleased except for Mordor.

At the age of 26 he stayed for one month in the City of Lothlorian, where he persuaded the artists there to try a new and risky method of expressing oeself, tattoo's. He offered himself up as the specimin for testing and got his tattoo's only to be told that the elves wouldnt attempt it again as it put the specimen through too much pain to be considered an art form. Today, he remains travelling, keeping in touch with the news of Middle Earth as best he can when staying in a town or a city. Seeking danger whenever he can.

Personality: Elaniver has a strange personality as he fights for the good of those he cares for. He has some morals and definitely has a concience. He merely doesnt see how fighting fair is a bad thing if it is for a good cause, he see's Gondor as his child and consequently he is more than willing to fight dirty if needs must (or even if he doesnt have to). He has an ego but he makes sure he keeps it relatively in check, he has the desire to be greater warrior than anyone else but his determination that as long as there is an orc in Middle Earth then there is a chance something might try and eat him therefore they must go. When going into battle he gets into the persona of being as angry as he possibly can, this means that when going into battle his strenght is easily fuelled by a mixture of adrenaline, rage and his own fitness to keep him going through a battle of any length. Elaniver hates the idea of pre-planning how he is going to fight as he is strong in the beleif that when you do actually fight, all thought of pre-planning or strategy is erased and replaced by the basic human instict to survive. Elaniver is willing to follow the tactics of others however if he see's an oppertunity to make the tactics slightly more effective he is never afraid to suggest it to his commanding officor or even to just do something else in the thick of battle. Elaniver doesnt really mind the idea of being under someones command and in most cases he welcomes the companionship of his fellow man however he feels that his talents and attributes would be better used in giving him a goal to acheive and him acheiving it rather than going along with the crowd as he usually clears a path much faster than his fellow warriors.
